Nutrition and Hair Loss



Hair loss problems are often associated with men because of  testosterone . Genetics , 70 percent of men will start to show the male pattern baldness symptoms at the age of 18. At this age, the sensitivity of hair follicles will become weaker and cause little hair growth and will resulted in baldness.

Women will also face the same problem . Many factors can be attributed to hair loss. According to the Nutrition Specialist Research Society Miami , Doug Kalman , nutritional deficiency tends to cause dry and broken hair.

He said that those who consume a diet low in fat or fat-free diet will be more at risk of experiencing hair loss problems related to nutrition.

"The lack of essential fatty acids causes the dry scalp . If the hair follicles are not healthy, one will be tend to suffer from hair loss , " he said.

Recommendations:
Omega-3 fatty acids found in salmon and mackerel as well macadamia nuts . Thus, it is advisable to take omega-3 fatty acids , three times a week for healthy skin and hair .
